Card Evaluations

It Calls Me is a much more powerful card than it may first appear. The ability to pollute your opponent's deck with potentially bad draws is just ok. But being able to cycle the card for cheap or for free by singing is very valuable. Especially when you have other cards that benefit whenever you sing a song or play an action. This card is poised to see a lot of play.

Robin's Bow is another Emerald card that can deal additional damage to already damaged characters. But again, Emerald has no efficient way to damage the opposing characters or locations in the first place. You pretty much have to play this card with Steel and even there it, weirdly, doesn't synergize well with Robin Hood - Capable Fighter. The card just seems very clunky to use and, to top it all off, it is uninkable. Bleh.

The Firebird is a vanilla card in a stat distribution we have not seen before. 6 Strength is a lot on a 4-drop but at 2 Willpower it will be banished by just about anything. Feels like you want to play this card with Croquet Mallet or White Rabbit's Pocket Watch but neither of those items are very good, so probably best to not run one bad card to make another bad card slightly better.

Maui - Winged Demigod is a very flavorful card but it suffers from the same issue as The Firebird. 2 Willpower just dies to so much removal right now. His In My Stomach ability is hilarious though. He ate poor Heihei!
