So many Big Tournaments are finally taking place in Europe. North America has been pumping out tournaments left and right. I’m very happy to see that Europe is catching up. Today we will be covering the Top 8 Decks of Disney Lorcana Quest Tour #1 at Sklad Gier (Poznan) Lorcana Top Decks, Polish Tournament.
Top 8 Decks of Disney Lorcana Quest Tour #1 at Sklad Gier (Poznan) Lorcana Top Decks
This Tournament is another great example of how diverse the Disney Lorcana Meta has been. We have 5 different decks that made it to Top 8 for this Tournament. There is also one deck that we haven’t seen make it to the top 8 in a while!

James Molloy - Sapphire Steel Cogsworth
James’ List uses cards that most Steel Sapphire decks do. There are a couple of techs though and the amount of copies of certain cards that makes it stand out for me. The first tech I noticed is that the deck is running 2 Ba-Boom!. I have been seeing this card get played more in some deck with 1-2 copies of it. I personally think that it’s a pretty solid tech for the meta with so many 2 Willpower characters that are being played in Turn 1. The deck also have 0 copies of One Jump Ahead.
However, It does run 3 different cards for Ramping. Mickey Mouse - Detective, Belle - Strange but Special, and Fishbone Quill are in the deck for Ramp. I also noticed that instead of multiple And Then Along Came Zeus, James decided to run 3 Let It Go. Which is great against Ruby Amber Mufasa Decks.
Lastly, Benja - Guardian of the Dragon Gem, Beast - Hardheaded and Rise of the Titans are its tools for taking out items and Locations.
Tomasz Zawadzki - Ruby Amber Mufasa
It’s very nice to finally see Amber Ruby Mufasa in the Top8 again. It has been a while and this deck that Tomasz is running has a card that I’ve been waiting to see in the competitive scene. Hydra - Deadly Serpent is a card that I thought would eventually get played in a competitive deck and it was only a matter of time.
The deck also runs Teeth and Ambitions which is a nice complement for this deck for Hydra - Deadly Serpent and draws for Rapunzel - Gifted with Healing. Lastly, 1 Chernabog - Evildoer is here to help finish the game. Other than that, everything else is what we usually would expect from an Amber Ruby Mufasa Deck.
Patryk Skut - Emerald Steel Discard
This deck has been performing super consistently in tournaments lately. Patryk’s List what we’ve been seeing and what a Traditional Emerald Steel Discard deck is. Most of the time though, we won’t see 003-196 that often. I think by now, it is very safe to play this card in most steel decks. 1-2 copies of it should be enough and should perform pretty solid with the current meta. The best part is if you can’t find use for it, you can always Ink the card.
Rafal Tarnowski - Amethyst/Ruby Bounce Control
Rafal’s List is more on the faster side version of Bounce Control. The deck is running 10 1-cost Characters. Though I find it really odd that with an aggressive curve at the start, the deck itself is not running any Merlin - Crab. It also has 1 Jim Hawkins - Space Traveler to get value play for a location once the board is swarmed by its low cost curve. It is also important to point out that the deck only has 3 copies of Be Prepared.

Joseph Curley - Emerald Steel Discard
Joseph’s list is very interesting for me. This version of Emerald Steel Discard is something I've not seen before. At first glance it looks like a regular Emerald Steel Discard deck. But if you haven’t noticed, the Curve stops at 4 Ink Cost. It can almost be mistaken for a Hyper Aggro deck if you can only see the curve. I find it very interesting how it got to top 4 without the traditional Beast -Tragic Hero and Tinker Bell - Giant Fairy in it. I’d also like to point out that the deck has 3 copies of Ba-Boom! and has 2 Tiana - Celebrating Princess in it.
Rob de Haan - Amber Steel Song Pridelands
It was only a matter of time before we saw this deck make it to top 8. Yes, I know that we see Steel Song very often up here. But it is usually Steel Song Lantern and Flutes that makes it to the top 8. The rise of the popularity for Pride Lands - Pride Rock has been increasing. 2 cost Location that has 7 Willpower and can quest for 1 is no joke. The deck has pretty much everything we usually see in a Steel Song Deck. I also want to point out that the deck only has 1 copy of Grab Your Sword.

Daniel Gangkofner - Steel Steel Song Flutes
Daniel’s deck is almost a hybrid of a Lantern and Flutes Steel Song. We normally would see Beast - Tragic Hero and Rapunzel - Gifted with Healing in a Lantern deck and not Flutes. The deck is also running only 3 copies of Sleepy's Flute. It also has fully cut out Tinker Bell - Giant Fairy from the deck. Everything else is exactly what Steel Song would run in a deck like this. Lastly, it is a very bold move not to run Benja - Guardian of the Dragon Gem in this deck. But 4 The Bare Necessities did its job to get rid of items. I guess Steel Song Flute would rather sing anyways to get rid of items instead of playing a character to do it.

Mateusz Kopec - Sapphire Steel Ramp
First of All Congratulations to Mateusz for the 1st Place Finish in this Big Tournament! At first glance of the deck it almost can be called a Sapphire Steel Song with the amount of songs in it. The Deck is running 4 One Jump Ahead, 4 Fishbone Quill, and 2 Belle - Strange but Special for ramp. It also has 4 Develop Your Brain which is a great card to filter your deck and look for answers better. In the hands of the right player this card is deadlier than what it looks like. Lastly, it has 2 Lucky Dime and 2 Tamatoa - So Shiny! to finish the game faster once it has ramped.
Conclusion
The Top 8 Decks of Disney Lorcana Quest Tour #1 at Sklad Gier (Poznan) Lorcana Top Decks is so diverse and so interesting for me. It is so nice to see some cards being played more and also different Variants of the deck that we are familiar with in the Meta already. I think that it is also just a matter of time before Amber Ruby Mufasa or Amber Steel Song Pride Lands will win one of these Big Events.
