Card Evaluations

Prince John - False King is another 5-drop in Emerald with the 2/4 stat line. They love this stat line in Emerald for some reason. I don't think you will play this card in 1v1 formats, over the likes of Kuzco - Temperamental Emperor or Mad Hatter - Gracious Host. But in multiplayer games, his ability to drain lore from your opponents may make him worth running a couple copies.

Maid Marian has the same effect as Aurora - Briar Rose, with slightly better stats and she costs 1 more ink. That Aurora card has not seen any play, as her effect just isn't good enough, so you are relying on Marian's stats to carry her here and a 4/4/2 is not what you want for 5 ink.

Amber gets its first Tinker Bell card. She has the Be Our Guest effect, which is a nice little draw option. The 1/4/1 is not great on a 4-cost body though and she is uninkable on top of that. She also competes with Rapunzel - Gifted with Healing in the 4-drop slot, and Rapunzel is just a better card in every way. But in limited formats, or if you are looking to make a deck on a budget, this uncommon is a decent option.

Hades is the finisher for Titan decks. You have a board full of Titans, quest with them and then use your Hades to ready them all and they can quest again. If you can ready Hades with something like Shield of Virtue, you could even trigger his Recall the Titans ability multiple times in a turn. I don't know if Titan decks are going to be good enough to make it in the meta, but if they are, this card will be a big reason why.

Chernabog, the big, bad demon featured Fantasia, makes his debut in Lorcana. And what a debut! He's a 10-cost 9/9 for 3 lore BUT can be discounted based on how many characters you have in your discard pile. He reminds of the giants from Hearthstone, which were big statted creatures that got discounted by 1 based on a certain criteria (characters on board, cards in hand, etc.). Chernabog also comes with a second ability, which is a bit of a drawback, in that it dilutes your later draws. But if you can get this guy down early enough, the game will likely be over before that becomes a huge factor. Very cool card.

Chernabog's Minions synergize well with Chernabog, natch. You get some early lore gain and then can banish them into your discard pile to cheapen your Chernabog. And they cycle themselves. A nice piece for your Chernabog decks.
