Card Evaluations

I think all these cards might be good, maybe even great. King Louie is a nice big body that can heal itself multiple times a turn, including after he challenges and banishes something, provided he survives the challenge. It even works on your opponent's turn! And healing has some great synergies with cards like Grand Pabbie, gaining you lore, and Rapunzel - Gifted Artist, gaining you card draw.

Launch is a new action which is the first card in the game that isn't from an existing Disney IP, according to the IGN article. It was invented for the game and comes from the world of Lorcana. The card has some nice synergy with the recently revealed Nick Wilde and Pawpsicle. It being uninkable is a pretty big drawback though and I expect it only sees play in an item heavy deck. But I love the flavor of it. You are launching the item you banish at your opponent's character!

I like the flexibility of Charge!. It gives you a good way to let a smaller character trade up or to allow an important character survive a key challenge. And it's inkable, which is always good for these types of flexible action cards. If you don't need it, just ink it. I just wish it had card draw attached to it as well.

And, lastly, the two Floodborn cards are looking quite strong. Beast is a new draw engine for Steel decks that don't want to go all-in with A Whole New World. Just leave him on board unexerted and he will draw you an extra card each turn. While Pinocchio is an interesting option for the bounce decks that not only can be used to bounce some of your Merlins, he can also bounce an opponent's character for a big tempo gain.
