Each week, I will be taking a look at the cards that rose and fell the most in each of Disney Lorcana’s sets and potentially make some predictions based on chatter I am hearing and results I am seeing throughout the community.
A few rules up front:
- Price changes are based on TCGplayer Market Price, updated every hour on the hour (through an API). Market price is based on the average price of card sales. I am looking at the percentage price change from 7 days ago compared to when the article is written each week. Depending on when you are reading this/article goes live, compared to when that section was written, prices may change slightly.
- I am only looking at cards Rare or above, and with current value of close to $1 or more. Cards under $1 can have wide market swings given easy buyouts, but given the current state of supply of cards it was hard to find cards above this value for comparison given their growth trends. For cards under $1 I only included those I feel have the potential to go higher and were not simply artificially inflated (i.e. they actually see play).
- I am looking at only non-foil pricing. Note that prices on foil staple cards are very high (for example, you can probably get close to $100 for a Beast - Tragic Hero!).
- As there are now four sets for Disney Lorcana, I will be taking a look at the market as a whole, not just cards per set, and only the cards that rose (not fell) and my predictions for the next week.

News of the Week Affecting Lorcana Finance
The biggest news of the week was the upcoming errata to Bucky - Squeak Squirrel Tutor which I covered in depth last week. Set Championships rolled into their second week, with Emerald-Steel (with Bucky of course) continuing its swan song along with Ruby-Amethyst making its presence ever-felt. There are still two weeks to snag an Ursula and/or the playmat if you have not done so already (or get more if you have!)
We also had a ton of new reveals from Shimmering Skies, with the most exciting being the new Legendary Mufasa - Ruler of Pride Rock, the hyper-aggressive Daisy Duck - Donald's Date, and another Robin Hood Shift line with Robin Hood - Sneaky Sleuth! A ton of the set is left to be revealed, but these three cards at minimum and how they will affect the future metagame should be on your mind!
Overall the market was down this week on most "bigger cards" because the season is half way complete and the next set is right around the corner. Most cards that were up are the filler at the rarity slots, as they were super undervalued and the bulk buyers were snatching them up at low prices. It was hard to find some diamonds in the rough this week!

Lorcana's Biggest Risers
Be King Undisputed
- Current Market Price: $1.83
- 7 Day Percentage Change: +39.9%
I am claiming credit for this one! Not only was I talking about it here as a card to own, but Team The Forbidden Mountain (TFM) was the first to play this in DLC Chicago, and it gained popularity after the event to become a staple in Ruby-Amethyst by other creators with high finishes. Be King Undisputed really allows Ruby-Amethyst to play a more tempo-based style, with this solid song removal not setting you behind and keeping the board clear from control decks. This card alone has changed how people build their decks, as you simply cannot win with one large threat. You will not find a reputable playset under $3.25 and I expect it to climb from there.
Peter Pan - Shadow Finder
- Current Market Price: $0.49
- 7 Day Percentage Change: +32.7%
Lower than my normal threshold for looking at cards, but this one has the potential to keep rising. Two copies made it into the Bochum winners deck, and as such it is becoming more widely adopted for most Ruby-Amethyst lists. I am not sure you want the uninkable slot in other decks like Amethyst-Steel, but if it becomes a staple in Ruby-Amethyst, the sky is the limit (the shadow is the limit?). This is currently selling at around $1 for playset from certified sellers, so I expect it can triple that in the coming weeks!
Sisu - Emboldened Warrior
- Current Market Price: $6.46
- 7 Day Percentage Change: +19.3%
We are back to a Ruby-Amethyst world and we are just all living in it! Three in a row from this deck, for a card that has been climbing these charts every week since the set dropped! This character does it all, dominating the board no matter when she hits the table. You rarely can find playsets of her currently for under $8!
Anna - True-Hearted
- Current Market Price: $0.52
- 7 Day Percentage Change: +25%
I planned to cover this in my "cards to look out for" section but do not worry I have some other spiciness! Anna is seeing sporadic play an an Amber-Sapphire Hero based list that puts the game away quickly with large questers. This Anna acts as a finisher here, gaining you essentially 4-5 Lore any mid-game turn she is able to survive. You cannot really find a playset under $1.60 and if that deck has any success at a larger event like the upcoming DLC Fort Worth, she can spike up in price even higher!
Maui's Fish Hook
- Current Market Price: $0.25
- 7 Day Percentage Change: +24%
I told you it was slim pickings... Ruby decks need an answer to Locations and Maui's Fish Hook is an easy, inkable answer to many of them! You can easily play this as a one-of in many lists and dig for it in a pinch. It's not a necessary answer, but it can help close out Locations in a turn.
Cards to look out for in Lorcana
The Muses - Proclaimers of Heroes
- Current Market Price: $0.22
- 7 Day Percentage Change: +13.6%
On paper, this card has so much going for it! The main thing against it, is our favorite little Squirrel! With Bucky out of the picture, and potentially even now with the right list, it may be time for Amber-Emerald (or Lemon-Limon or Sprite colloquially) to shine. A powerful effect if she can stay in play and dodge that removal!
Golden Harp - Enchanter of the Land
- Current Market Price: $0.15
- 7 Day Percentage Change: +13.3%
You cannot argue with that stat line (ok the new Daisy can, but even she is uninkable!). I have seen the Harp show up in both Amber-Steel and some Amber-Emerald lists, with a greater emphasis on singing each turn. Maybe it is too much of a pipe dream, but players are finally figuring out to not actually play this card too early, but instead wait until the mid game when you are constantly playing cards each turn. Then you get a very under costed threat hit the board WITH a song you are paying for (if you do not have singers). Just make sure you have a steady stream of songs!
The Sorcerer's Hat
- Current Market Price: $0.19
- 7 Day Percentage Change: +5.3%
We have already seen one way to manipulate the top of your deck in Merlin - Turtle and if we see another easy enabler, this cheap way to draw cards may finally have its place. Not to mention we may start to see more heavy one-character based decks (like the new Pete) so this card may have a place there as well!
Pride Lands - Pride Rock
- Current Market Price: $0.56
- 7 Day Percentage Change: -23.2%
This card won me two Ursulas (with playmats) so far, and I do not see it stopping there. You already are hard pressed to find this card under $1 , but if you find them super cheap, I would jump on them! Our whole team has found great success with this card, and I do not think it will stop there. This card will be big in Fort Worth, mark my words!
Conclusion
A very quiet week. Fort Worth is upon us with a great main event but even more insane side events (especially the big constructed events on Sunday!). I am not attending this event this week, but will be cheering on my friends and teammates from the sidelines in my own bed! Maybe play in a third set champs? Make it three for three? I look forward to another huge week of Shimmering Skies reveals as well, as reveal season is my favorite time to be online in the Lorcana space!
