Card Evaluations

The Boss Is On A Roll is a very powerful draw improvement effect. That also, for some reason, gains you 1 lore. This card seems like it would go best in a combo-style deck, where you want to search for a very specific card or cards from your deck. Those sorts of decks haven't really been viable in Lorcana, so I'm not sure this sees play. If it drew you 1 card instead of gained you 1 lore, it would be playable in more deck archetypes.

Nottingham - Prince John's Castle has the same stats as Forbidden Mountain - Maleficent's Castle, which seems to be the standard 2-cost vanilla location stats. Personally, I think the 1-cost locations are better vanillas; you still get the passive 1 lore and only give up 2 Willpower. I doubt these are playable, but we shall have to see how strong locations are in general.

Ba-Boom! is Fire The Cannons except inkable and it can target locations as well. For that, you have to pay 1 extra ink. All in all, it's a fair deal. And this card is necessary because 1-cost locations threatened to easily generate 2 or more lore before you could even have any hope of dealing with them. Now you can deal with them as early as turn two by challenging with a character and then Ba-Booming it. If locations, especially early game ones, are meta this card will be a popular choice to counter them.
